Last updated on Friday, August 22, 2008. There is a lake applet on this page. In other words the water in the lake appears to be moving. Not all browsers will view this affect. Note: Romeo Ramirez sent me an email via classmates. He is alive and living in Houston, Texas. He is not the first to be resurected from our list which is provided to me. Please double check before giving me information on deceased classmtes. Thanks.

In loving memory of our classmates who have gone on before us.

May the sun never set on your goals and dreams. May each tomorrow bring a beautiful sunrise. Each dawning brings a new page or a new chapter to our lives. Each dusk brings peace and rest and hope to rise again the next dawn. May we bring with each dawning fresh ideas to create yet another page and chapter in our lives working toward our purpose here on earth. Copyright © 2001 Moonlightflower (Carolyn Bigler Hebert) I only hope our classmates were able to bring to fruition many of their goals and dreams before they went home to meet their maker. Much thanks to Edie Treibel Lopez and Glen Swearingen for scanning some of the pictures for me. Thank you to Linda (Stormy) Campbell (TJ61) for the basic code for the slide show. The sunrise picture was by Lynda Bradley Huebel (TJ63), from her front porch at their lake house on Toledo Bend Lake. Thanks, Lynda. This page is elliciting a lot of emotions to include for me too. I am so very fortunate to be alive and importantly being able to do this, build web sites. Some of you do not know that I am a traumatic brain injury survivor. FYI: We had 545 in our graduating class. Two classmates died before they had an opportunity to graduate. Please visit our teachers memorial page too. TJHS Teachers Memorial and Honors SOMEWHERE IN TIME Nonoy Zuniga ("Somewhere In Time") Somewhere in time We met on timeless hills And in the evening mist we kissed And time stood still Before the dawn we found forever Moments of timeless when I feel your caress You’re always here inside of me And I know when love is true It’s always with you Somewhere in time I came to realize love never goes...

New Guestbook - Elvis sings

The song: "Somewhere In Time"

There were five hundred twenty-five photos of classmates in our senior yearbook but there were five hundred forty- five in our graduation class. On our commencement program there were four hundred eighty-seven names. That means fifty- eight classmates didn't make it. Two of those died, one was killed in a car wreck and the other died of Leukemia. One classmate was held back from playing hooky too much. The rest I don't have information on. This brings our death rate percentage of known deceased classmates to a little over seventeen (17 %) percent and I believe there may be more. This year of 2008 I have added several classmates to our deceased list and I have removed one. Mark Majors, brother of Beth Majors, said Beth and her current husband have a motor home and travel. Some people on our deceased list did not have a picture in our senior yearbook. I created some senior pictures from our junior yearbook photos. There are 87 pictures on this page to include the tombstone I created for our mascot, the Yellow Jacket. His stinger was put to rest in 2002 due to a school merger. Somebody said that isn't so. Tell, if the merger did not put the yellow jacket to rest, what did? I guess there is one photo missing. This list of deceased is growing, currently we have 90 known to be deceased. Check the Yearbook List I emailed the updated email list. Many replies came back with even a few changes. That updated list was emailed to Donna Houseman. I will NOT post addresses in this website. If you did not receive the class roster from me, either send an email to Donna or to me and we will be glad to send it to you. Oh, the list is complete with all of the names for all of our yearbooks and includes all deceased classmates as of the date the list was made. It includes if we need an address for a classmate too. Carolyn
