URGENT NOTICE:
IF YOU DONATED ANYTHING TO THE GRADUATE MUSEUM.
Due to the extensive damages to the Graduate Museum, 
the museum will have to be relocated. It is imperative 
that you contact either Janet Vestal or Liz Seigler to 
make arrangements to go to the museum and get what you 
donated. The contact information is on the How to Help 
Page in the Graduate Museum website. Or you may send me 
an email by clicking on the webmaster link in our website 
or on the Comment link in the Graduate Museum website. 
For the safety of our precious historical mementos please 
collect whatever you donated and safe keep them until such 
time as we can relocate the museum. 

The door and the windows have been boarded over. The 
bricks on the sidewalk were uplifted by hurricane Ike 
however they were brought inside the building for safety. 
The plumbing was stolen from the restroom, copper piping 
for the air conditioning was stolen, and roofing was 
also stolen besides other damages. This makes the 
building unable to be used and extremely costly to 
be repaired.

Hurricane Ike
For our classmates who had to evacuate due to Hurricane Ike
I sent an email to all on our email list regarding Ike; 
replies are posted. I will be sending out 11 postcards to
our classmates who live in Bridge City and Orange, Texas
and the one who has a PO Box at Crystal Beach, Texas.
I sent our address roster to everybody on our email list
several months back.

Our classmate replies and how they fared.

My external drive died during the evacuation. It will cost 
over $800.00 to recover my files. They were put on a new
portable external drive. Whew! Now to consider purchasing
a protection plan. For $99 you can get a 3 year protection
plan. That information will be on the favorite links page.
Now I have to get the hard drive on my desktop restored.
Something has happened to that drive now. But my laptop
is the pc I used to make the DVDs.
